Sus-mirri.it partecipated to the 7th International Conference on Microbial Diversity 2023, that took place in Parma from 26th to 29th September 2023, at the Paganini Congressi. The Conference, organized by University of Parma, and is a prestigious international congress that has seen the number of participants grow over the years. MD editions saw a multidisciplinary audience and included microbiologist working in the area of agriculture, food, environment, health industry members, researchers and basic scientists who came together from 36 countries to make for an exciting forum.
The theme of 7th Edition of MD was “Agrifood microbiota as a tool for a sustainable future” and included the four sessions: FOOD microbiota as a tool for a sustainable future; HUMAN microbiota as a tool for a sustainable future; ENVIROMENT microbiota as a tool for a sustainable future; Sustainable future has come. We all know that the World population is continuously increasing, facing problems such as Food security, Food safety, Climate changes, Pandemic. We firmly believe that the agrifood microbiota and its diversity would be the key tool for a sustainable future.
